Reign of Christ Sunday is a celebration that marks the conclusion of the liturgical year, and offers a time for reflection on the past year of worship. It also provides an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to following Jesus Christ and to look forward to the future, when Christ will return to reign over the world.

Prayer of the day: Ever-living God, grant that people of this earth who are now divided by the desire for power and wealth, may be united by a common desire for healing and peace for all people throughout the world, through the example and teachings of Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen
