Following a fifth ballot, delegates to the Eastern Synod Assembly 2024 are pleased to announce that Rev. Carla Blakley has been elected as the next Bishop of the Eastern Synod! In response to their election, Bishop-Elect Blakley offered words of gratitude and hope for the future of ministry in the Eastern Synod! Please join us in praying for Bishop-Elect Blakley, the Blakley family, and the Eastern Synod!
